EXPOVINO PANAMA is an excellent showcase for the food and wine industry, where new products and trends are launched and promoted.
EXPOVINO is attended by an important group of wine merchants and producers from several countries. The five day event is visited by well over 15,000 people, including several hundred direct buyers from hotels, restaurants and wine stores More than 70% of the exhibitors make valuable contacts and close deals with importers from Central America, the Caribbean and Panama. Every year, wineries from Argentina, Spain, France, Chile, Urugay, Italy and the United States, as well as Panamanian food and wine distributors, which represent well over 800 wine brands, participate directly. As to increase the amount of potential buyers, the First Restaurants Fair is being held alongside EXPOVINO. This fair will bring together some of the best restaurants in town.
Recurring participants have shown plenty of satisfaction after taking part in EXPOVINO, some have been involved for many years now. Those who came the first time were aware of the posibilities that exist in a growing market like Central America, the Caribbean and Panama.

WINE TASTINGS PROGRAM
Another one of the goals of EXPOVINO PANAMA is to inform and update people about wine culture. The tastings, led by experts in the field, are an excellent medium to showcase all the features of these high quality products. These tastings will be conducted daily from Thursday, June 28th to Sunday, 29th from 6:00 - 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
- EXPOVINO 2007 The contest was a success. It was convened at the Trattoria America, so that participants could get to know and taste the wines. The winners of WINE FAIR AWARDS - EXPOVINO 2007, will be presented throughout the fair. During this contest, experts on wine culture and wine connoisseurs were the judges who picked the winners.
